About
Independent, data-driven price research on premium alfalfa in Southeast Colorado's lower Arkansas Valley (McClave / Las Animas / Lamar). New reports monthly, more often when the market is moving.
Rules:
- Predictions are written down first — price bands, dates, and confidence levels are committed to a public git record before the data comes out.
- Reports are frozen at publication. Corrections go in the retro; the original stays as published.
- Every report gets a retro scoring the forecast against real data: what was right, what was wrong, what changed because of it.
- Sources are named: USDA NASS and AMS, Colorado DWR, NRCS SNOTEL, ditch-company records, and surveyed cash markets.
The site is plain HTML so it loads fast on weak signal and prints clean.
